When we filmed on location, we took photos for our promotional advert for a music magazine. Below are a few of the images which we might use for said advert.
We like the two images above because they have eye contact with the audience (camera), with a good view of the surrounding area, which links to the music video. To fit in with the acoustic rock genre a guitar is featured. The overall image is esthetically pleasing.
We tried taking the shot from a different angle, but were not as pleased with the results: lighting and posture of the artist seems off.
We like this shot, however, do not think it would work for an advertisement as there would not be much room to add details of the album, logo etc.
Below are a few of the images we also took with our montage in mind: (we will fix any flaws e.g.- red eyes before adding them to the finished product.)
